The Shipcarpenter Square Concept

Shipcarpenter Square homeowners are committed to the concept that the 18th and 19th century structures in Shipcarpenter Square can be modernized and made livable for 20th and 21st century homeowners in such a way that the basic features of their original architectural style are maintained.

The unique character of the original historic structure of each house helps to define the ambiance and value of the neighborhood as a whole.

Commitment to this concept is described in Section 13 of the Amended and Restated Declaration and Restrictions for Shipcarpenter Square (Deed Restrictions), and is accepted by homeowners at the time a purchase contract is signed.
